THE STUDIO

A stone’s throw away from NYC, The Koop was designed to meet the needs of nearly any type of audio and music production. The 1200 sq ft facility offers a full gamut of audio services: recording, production, mixing, mastering, podcasts, overdubs, voiceover, and video production.

The musical home of Sam Wagner and Matt Graff, the studio is located in a century-old mansion overlooking the Hudson River. It features 3 main rooms with finely-tuned equipment (including a 150-year-old Steinway grand piano), effortless sightlines and sound isolation to record an intimate vocal or produce a full rock band. Most importantly, any session at the Koop comes with an experienced engineer dedicated to helping any artist or musician reach their full potential with ease and confidence.

Music Recording

Voiceover and ADR

With industry standard equipment, excellent isolation and remote recording and monitoring capability, we’re ready to record your voice over, tape sync, or ADR session.

Rates start at $100/hour* with engineer

Song Production

From demo track to final master, let us help realize your musical vision.

Project or per-song rates are determined on a case by case basis.

Video Production

Come in and use the studio as a place to perform and record a professional video. In-house videographers available.

Mixing and Mastering

Competitive, nuanced, high fidelity mixes and masters to help your music stand out in the crowd.

Mixing starts at $250/song
Mastering starts at $75/song

Podcasts

Our space and equipment provide a perfect environment to host and record your podcast. We can also edit, mix, and provide original music and sound effects to polish the production.

Rates start at $100/hr* with engineer and vary based on the number of hosts/guests.
